I cannot remember if I mentioned this or not (I probably did) but at GeekGirlCon this past October I bought myself a really gorgeous corset. It's blue with black accents, and the fabric has this lovely sort of spiral pattern on it. I saw my pain doctor this morning, and I actually saw him instead of the NP because the NP has apparently left the practice. Since I didn't like her as much as I like Dr. Z I was really okay with that. We talked about life stressors, including my mom, and how the migraines have been worsening in severity but not frequency. My attempt to go caffeine-free yesterday did not go so well; I got a really bad headache near the end of the day. Survived without caffeine, but have decided not to quit cold turkey just yet. Instead, this morning I'm having green tea. Less caffeine but hopefully it'll keep the migraine at bay.

So writing today was going dreadfully. Kind of. I got a scene written that will fit into WC in several chapters, but nothing else was coming along. A dozen words here, a sentence there, it just...wasn't working, and I was very frustrated and annoyed. ( blather below cut )
